1. Who these terms are between

These terms are between you and LOKAX, covering every purchase made through this website or the LOKAX mobile app. By creating an account, placing an order, or using either app, you agree to them.

2. Accounts

You need a valid email address to create an account, and you're responsible for keeping your login details secure. You can also check out as a guest without an account — guest orders are looked up by order number, which we treat the same way a courier tracking number works: it's provided to you when the order is placed, and looking one up doesn't require signing in.

3. Orders and pricing

Prices are shown in Nigerian Naira (NGN); where we display an estimate in another currency for your convenience, that figure is for reference only — you're charged in NGN, and your bank or card issuer converts the charge at its own rate. Placing an order is an offer to buy, which we accept once payment is verified. We reserve the right to cancel an order before it ships — for example if a listing had an incorrect price or a product is unexpectedly unavailable — in which case we'll refund you in full.

4. Payment

Payments are processed by Paystack. We never see or store your full card number. All orders are verified against Paystack's own confirmation before we treat a payment as successful — if a charge appears on your statement without an order confirmation from us, contact us immediately.

5. Delivery and risk

Estimated delivery windows shown at checkout are estimates, not guarantees — customs processing and last-mile courier delays for international orders are outside our control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. See our Refunds & Returns page for what happens if something arrives damaged, wrong, or doesn't match its listing.

6. Product listings

We describe every product as accurately as we can, including inspection status and, where available, nutrition information. Some nutrition figures are estimated or directional rather than lab-verified — this is disclosed on the product page itself where it applies. Natural produce varies batch to batch; minor variation in appearance, size or colour from the product photo is normal and isn't a defect.

7. Acceptable use

• Don't use the site or app for anything unlawful, or to attempt to interfere with how they operate.
• Don't submit a product review for an order you didn't actually receive, or post content that's abusive, defamatory, or infringes someone else's rights.
• Don't attempt to resell LOKAX accounts, coupon codes, or access.

8. Our content

Product photography, LOKAX's name and logo, and the text on this site are owned by LOKAX or used under licence. You can share a product link or a screenshot for personal use; you can't republish our photos or copy for your own commercial listing.

9. Liability

We're liable for losses that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or acting negligently. We're not liable for losses that weren't foreseeable when you placed your order, or for delays and losses genuinely outside our control (customs holds, courier failures, events like natural disasters). Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can't legally be limited, or excludes rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you're ordering from.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you're entitled to under the law of your own country of residence.

11. Changes

We may update these terms as LOKAX grows. If we make a material change, we'll update the date below and, where the change is significant, let account holders know by email.
